.925 STERLING SILVER PLATED RHODIUM. All Mystigrey silver jewellery pieces are made from .925 sterling silver, which is 92.5% silver, the highest quality for silver jewellery. A rhodium plating is added to enhance the lustre and durability of the jewellery, offering a beautiful shiny finish and greater protection for sensitive skin.
THE BEAUTY OF RHODIUM. Rhodium is a metal in the same elemental group as noble platinum. Its exceptional heft and light-reflecting properties enhance the durability and finish of sterling silver, preventing tarnish and reducing the need for regular polishing.
18K GOLD PLATED. All gold-plated Mystigrey jewellery is plated with 18K gold. 18K gold contains 75% pure gold and 25% other metals, thus making it a higher quality of gold compared to 14K (which contains only 58% pure gold).
SIZE And ADJUSTABLE CHAIN. The chain measures 17.7 inches (45 cm). The chain is adjustable. It has two additional hooks on the clasp. Therefore, it can be made shorter by .78 inches or by 1.5 inches. (see Size chart for additional information). The chain features a lobster clasp that allows for easy closing.
