Find the right fit for yourself or someone special. All Mystigrey sizes are listed in inches and centimeters, and rings in both French (EU) and US sizes. Many of our necklaces and bracelets have a built-in extension, so you can adjust the length as you wear them.

Ring size guide

Our rings are made in French (European) sizes. The French size is the inside circumference of the ring in millimeters, so a French 54 measures 54 mm around the inside.

US sizes are rounded to the nearest quarter size.

How to find your ring size

Option 1: Measure a ring you already own (most accurate)

Choose a ring that fits the finger you want to wear the new ring on.
Measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimeters.
Find the closest diameter in the chart above.

Option 2: Measure your finger

Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
Mark where the ends meet, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters.
That number is your French size. Use the chart to find your US size.

Tips for the perfect fit

Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm. Fingers are smaller in the morning and in cold weather.
Make sure the ring will slide over your knuckle.
Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.
Wide bands fit more snugly than thin bands. For a wide band, go up half a size.
Your dominant hand is usually slightly larger.

Necklace length guide

Choose a length by where you want the necklace to sit. Each product page lists its chain length.

Built-in extension. Many of our necklaces have extra rings built into the clasp, so one necklace can be worn at more than one length. Most of our necklaces measure 17.7 in (45 cm) and adjust to 16.5 in (42 cm) or 15.7 in (40 cm): three lengths in one necklace, from the collarbone up to the base of the neck.

Multi-layer necklaces

Some of our necklaces come already layered, with two, three or more chains on a single clasp. The layers are set at 15.7 in (40 cm), 16.5 in (42 cm) and 17.7 in (45 cm), so each chain falls neatly below the one above it. Each product page lists the length of every chain. Choose by the shortest chain: it sets where the necklace begins, and the longer chains fall below it.

Layering your own

Space layered necklaces about 2 in (5 cm) apart so they sit neatly and don't tangle.
Start with a 16.5 in (42 cm) piece, then add 17.7 in (45 cm) and 19.7 in (50 cm).
Pendants show best at 17.7 in (45 cm) or longer.

Bracelet size guide

Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape measure or a strip of paper. Then add about 0.8 in (2 cm) for a comfortable fit.

Built-in extension. Many of our bracelets have extra rings built into the clasp, so you can wear them slightly shorter or longer. For example, our 7 in (18 cm) bracelets have an extra ring on the clasp, so you can shorten them by 0.8 in (2 cm) to fit a 6.2 in (16 cm) wrist.

For a snug fit, add 0.5 in (1.3 cm) to your wrist size. For a looser, relaxed fit, add 1 in (2.5 cm).
Between two sizes? Choose the larger one.

Bangle size guide

Most Mystigrey bangles are open bangles: they have a small opening, so they slip on from the side of your wrist instead of over your hand.

Bangle sizes

Mystigrey bangles come in two sizes, given as the inside diameter in millimeters. Most are size 58; a few are size 56. You can find the size in the last two characters of the product SKU.

Open bangles

Measure your wrist just above the wrist bone with a soft tape measure or a strip of paper.
Find your wrist in the table above. An open bangle fits best when its inside circumference is about 0.4 to 0.8 in (1 to 2 cm) larger than your wrist.
To put it on, turn your wrist sideways, slide the narrow side of your wrist through the opening, then rotate the bangle into place.

A gentle adjustment. Open bangles can be eased slightly wider or narrower by hand for a closer fit. Adjust slowly and only a little, so the bangle keeps its shape and finish.

Closed bangles

A closed bangle has to slide over your hand. Bring your thumb and little finger together, wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of your hand over the knuckles, and choose a bangle with an inside circumference equal to or slightly larger than that measurement.
